Is the G'Day Bait Tracer Pack a Step Forward or a Step Back for CoD?

If you want to get the Tracer Pack: G'Day Bait, U4GM offers this COD BO6 Gift CP, you can check it out!

With the release of the G'Day Bait Tracer Pack, I’ve been thinking about whether CoD is moving in the right direction. On the one hand, I love how Treyarch keeps finding ways to freshen things up. The pack offers a fresh aesthetic, bright colors, and a fun Australian-inspired theme that’s a change of pace from the usual war-torn realism.

On the other hand, I can’t help but wonder if these packs are detracting from the core experience of CoD. Players have been increasingly vocal about how much emphasis is placed on microtransactions and cosmetics. A lot of people are saying it feels like the game is shifting more toward being a “fashion show” than a first-person shooter.

In previous years, CoD was more about offering new guns, modes, and gameplay tweaks in the seasonal updates. Now, it feels like the game is being overshadowed by expensive cosmetic packs like this. Sure, the G'Day Bait pack is fun, but it’s not exactly offering anything new in terms of gameplay.

What do you all think? Is CoD becoming more about cosmetics than core gameplay, or is this just the natural evolution of a live-service game?
